Getting deadbolt lock changed… Do u trust a locksmith, knowing that this person may have a key to your home?

This may seem like a dumb question, but it seems to me that there is some element of risk here.
[Yes, I also saw the movie "CRASH" a while back--well I actually only saw the first half... Anyhow, even in this movie it is acknowledged that there is a risk factor here.]
Btw, I’ve always wondered this (wayyy before I saw the movie–the movie didnt influence me at all). * I referenced the movie as a self-check to make sure I’m not being a tiny bit paranoid, lol. *

Question:
Do you trust a locksmith to install both the deadbolt and doorknob lock to your home’s main enterance?

Also, how much should I expect to pay for this service (an average ballpark figure)?

My digital camera says “card is locked” when I try to take a picture, but it still lets me view my pictures?

The camera is a Casio Exilim Z80. The memory card is not actually locked, the tab is in the unlock position. I’ve tried three different memory cards with my camera but none of them work. Also, my camera lets me take pictures when there is no memory card in it.

k, sooo my friend was babysitting her little brother and he locked the door on accident n were locked out of the bedroom and we dont have a key..We would call a lock smith but we dont have time because her mom has to go to work….so any ideas

What are the employment requirements of a locksmith in regards to background checks, criminal history.?

I am working w/ a person who would like to learn the trade of Locksmith, however this person has conveyed to me that he has prior felony convictions. Based on this circumstance would this disqualify him for employment or apprenticeship training w/ a Locksmith.

Renault Laguna Wont start,how do i get it to start?

1st of all i lost the keys,so i called a locksmith who came out broke into the car then cut a key and programmed it by a computer.It was not a fob key that he used,but the original was a fob,but he said the immobilizer can be by passed anyway,that ain’t a problem.Could not get the car to start.battery was dead,changed no good,there is power in the car,the lights are coming on,but it just wont start.Problem aswell this car has not been started in about 2 years now.Any ideas what i can do to get it started?

My computer is locking up and running slow. It says that it’s a system32 error. How do I repair system32?

How can I repair system32 errors? I’ve had my computer a little while now, and it’s running really slow and locking up. I sometimes get system32 error messages, and I think this is probably the issue. I got this computer for Christmas, and it’s been nothing related to a blessing lately. Please help!

Marianna and Jason Jones were the proprietors of an antique store. They attended auctions frequently to obtain items for their personal use and as inventory for their store. On June 4, 1999, they attended an auction sponsored by Antique Helper in Indianapolis. The rules of the auction were that the sale was without reserve and that all sales were final.

During the course of the auction, the Marianna and Jason purchased a safe for $50 that had been part of the Girard estate. The auctioneer told the bidders that the inside compartment of the safe was still locked, and that the required combinations or keys to unlock the safe were unavailable.

When Marianna took the safe to a locksmith several days later to have the safe opened, the locksmith found $22,000 inside. The locksmith phoned the police who impounded the money. The Girard estate sued to recover the money, and Mr. and Mrs. Jones claimed that the safe and its contents had been sold to them.

Can I get a new car key made, even when I lost my only one?

So I’ve done what we’ve all done sometime in our driving life: lost the car key. The only problem is, I am not succeeding in finding my keys, and I do not have an extra car key on me. The car I have was my brother’s, and he ended up losing the first car key and never finding it, before giving me the car along with the second key. Now I lost THAT key. Maybe it runs in the family? Or the car? Anyways, can a dealer or locksmith be able to help cut a new car key? For what price? I really don’t need anything fancy; for now, just a normal, non-chipped key will do. We’re very short on money, and when I say very, I mean VERY, so I need an estimate on how much it may cost. Thanks again for anyones help!
For a bit of extra detail, it’s a 1998 Nissan Sentra.

Whats the best way to make a copy of a key you can’t take to a locksmith?

Its basically a work key. A Schlage Primus DA4-37 key that I need a copy of in case I lose it. Any ideas? Maybe some James Bond Styrofoam that I could imprint it and then make a mold? haha. jk. But seriously any ideas? I’m open here. Thank you.

I need to buy a portable door lock for my new room rental and i was wondering if anyone knows any good models? id like a digital one but im not sure they make any that dont require drilling i cant damage the place lol and privacy is a big issue for me
