I recently baught a 06 toyota corolla and wanted to make an extra key for it. I know if you have automatic doors that it cost more. Wheres the best place to get one made (cost wise or other). dealership or a locksmith?
After my condo closed my realtor told me to hire a locksmith to get into the door. Any suggestions?

Car Ignition Problems…?

Last night I could not get the key out of my cars ignition. I tried everything from turning the steering to playing with the gear. It was in park and still running. After about an hour, I just took out the battery and left it. This morning, I tried to get it out again. I decided to drive it a little to see if the tumblers would move. Didn’t work. So I had a friend come over and he pulled really hard and got the key out. Only problem is the car was still running. The key was not stripped or broken. What do you think the problem is? I called a few locksmiths. They want too much money to just come out and look at it and they may raise the price depending on the diagnosis. How much does a new ignition cost? It is a 2000 Chevy Cavalier. What would you do? I don’t want to drive it without the key in it so i’m kinda limited with options. All responses will be appreciated.

When I put a 4 GB memory card on my digital cam, I get an Error and Locked card (when unlocked) on the screen. The cam do not give me the option of formatting.

Using Windows defender, it freezes on an unknown driver and locks up my comp. I need to find and repair it!
System restore is not working…Tried to restore and am told to pick another date. Regardless of date it won’t restore.

I lost my keys, so a locksmith created a replica. It doesn’t even work. I have a receipt, and I paid $220 for the spare. The as-shole didn’t even carve it or mold it right. I had to pay $40 for the service and $65 for the tech and $120 for the Key model. Would I get this redone for free, and I have the receipt!! HELP ME BECAUSE I AM FUC-KING BROKE!!

Can a teenager become a locksmith? I have begun picking locks and i am completely self taught and i thot it would be really cool to have my first job as a locksmith or an apprentice or whatever. Could that work? Would they hire me so long as i could pick locks and make keys for lock? Would i be able to only work weekends because of school? I realize i would have to undergo some training for other areas i am not yet familiar with but would they still hire me? And finally, do you get paid even if they are still training you and you are not a fully certified locksmith?
oh and FYI i dont want to make this a career i just want it for a few years to earn money and plus its something i love to do in my spare time which is why im striving for it so badly
How do I rekey a Schlage lock?

I’m wanting to replace both entry door locks so that they’re all keyed the same. I’ve seen the Kwikset ones that I can do myself but I’m really considering the Schlage locks. I’ve looked online to try and find out how to rekey them, but I cannot find anything. Is this something I can do or will I need a locksmith to do this.
Also, can I order replacement keys? I’d like to have 4 keys. Do I just make copies of the originals?
Which brand of lock has got anti-duplication keys? Except Medeco?

Okay, so I’ve got this Master Lock combination lock that I don’t really remember the combination to. I know how you crack the combination, and i’ve tried it but it’s not working with mine (for some very odd reason). but it has a keyhole in the back (shockingly enough, i seem to have temporarily misplaced the key). I’ve got paperclips, bobby pins, serrated knives, tweezers, magnets… any way i can use any of these to pick this lock?!
and don’t tell me to just break it or call a lock smith because that would be very counterproductive considering i would actually like to use the lock in the near future. Plus, knowing how to pick a lock is a very good skill to have 
help???

Loneliness in the movie Crash?

I’m writing a Critical Film Analysis of the movie Crash. I chose to do Loneliness vs. Human Connection as my theme. I really want to focus my paper on the Persian store owner and Sandra Bullocks character.
The Persian store owner is not physically lonely, but seeing as how he can speak little English, and what little English he knows gets lost in his accent, that makes him very lonely. His store gets broken into, graffiti is written all over the walls. Also, he and the locksmith have a mix up because the Persians’ English is terrible.
As for Bullocks character, she is mean and her loneliness stems from her anger. She says in the movie “I’m angry all the time… and I don’t know why.” This is when she realizes how lonely her life is. She tries talking to her friends about it, but her friend makes an excuse to get off the phone with her. She then falls down the stairs and the ONLY person who is there for her is the one she has been mentally and emotionally abusing since day one; her maid/housekeeper.
I was wondering if any of you guys/girls could help me structure the essay (4 pages), give me more examples between the two of these charectors, have any input? I’d love to hear it!

He went to the dealership with his registration an ID but they said they quit giving out key codes in 1990. If anyone knows who he could contact to help him please.
