How much should it cost to have a locksmith open a safe with a push-pad combination?

My uncle passed away unexpectedly and his parents want to open his safe. They are afraid of paying a bunch of money to have it opened and finding it empty! They want it opened in a manner that will not destroy it. Any idea how much this might cost?

I am a AUTO,RESIDENTIAL AND SAFE AND VAULTS LOCKSMITH.I graduated w/top honors from college to learn this to help people.
I am LICENCED,BONDED AND INSURED.
My husband who is also a locksmith doesn’t have a problem with it except for the fact I make more money than he does.
MY BROTHER-IN-LAW AND UNCLE ARE LOCKSMITHS.THEY DON’T LIKE IT,THEY SAY”MEN SHOULD BE LOCKSMITHS.
are they offended that i make more money than them?or is it an EGO ISSUE?
Also customers(men) don”t like the idea of a woman doing this type of work.I have heard some ungodly rude comments and remarks.I have gotten to the point if a man says something stupid to me,my response is:I HAVE MY KEYS,DO YOU WANT YOURS?
men,pls tell me why there is such an issue here?

does anyone know how to re key a bmw e36 ignition lock?
i have a 1997 bmw e36 M3 that currently uses 1 key lock and unlock the driver door, trunk and glove compartment, and then another key for my ignition.
the previous owner said that he managed to break the original ignition by mistake and thus the reason why the car uses 2 keys. he did however give the original ignition lock to me so i am in possession of it and was wondering how i would go about removing the ignition cylinder from the housing so that i could swap it out with the 1 currently installed in my car ? (i am only interested in swaping the cylinder that holds the wafers, not the entire ignition lock)
i know that it is possible because i had the same problem with a previous bmw and had this done at a locksmith which only took him 10 minutes to do seeing as i removed the ignition lock myself and told him just to swap the cylinders for me
i have contacted that same locksmith to ask him if he could show me how he did it but he refuses to do so, i made it clear to him that i am prepared to pay him for his time and to do the swap and that i am only curious as to how this process is done but was once again refused
so i ask is there anyone that might able to enlighten me?

So today I went to US to fill up gas like I always do (it’s only about 35km away but its like 30-40 cents per liter cheaper). But as a habit I locked the doors before going out to fill up gas and left the keys inside. So I talked to the gas station owner and he said he can help me out and call a locksmith. He said he can use one lockpick for free, and he called the locksmith. And he opened it in like 3 seconds with some kind of plier. So I paid the owner 80$, and he said they charge around 120$, so he helped me out. I didn’t believe him of course but I felt like there is not much I could do. THe phone was left in a car. So I am wondering did I get ripped off a lot? Or not so much.
How are the newly advertised zip lock steaming bags safe when there are all of the warnings against micro?

i’m launching a small retail operation, and am looking for a very itemized listing of “non-merchandise” start-up items needed to open my store. i used to be a district manager and store manager, so i have a pretty good idea, but any help would be great. pens, pencils, etc… also, a generic list of services and accounts to open, like banking, locksmith, alarm company, etc. please don’t consider any item too small or obscure, lay it all on me. thanks!!

I arrested a locksmith last night on grounds of …. making …..doing…. something wrong.
We don’t keep someone at our jail 24/7 (the donut shop is at least 20 mins away). This is one a clever guy, and I don’t want to strain my men.
What games should we keep in his cell to keep him occupied while we aren’t there?

Okay not a giant emergency. No one is hurt or anything like that. My husband locked the keys in the minivan and being a little too cheap to pay for a locksmith. Anyway, how can we open the door on our own. (Don’t tell us to smash windows or anything obnoxious like that).
