I am in need of locksmith service at the moment to open my car and I’m wondering if I sign up for AAA online if I would be able to utilize it right away. Does anyone know?
Double door lock trouble?

these are double doors. the problem is the latch. when the knob is turned inside, the latch doesn’t move. normally to open the door, i turn the key and pull open the door on the outside. or on the inside i turn the knob(lever type) and the door opens. this is a Sargent commercial lock. so the door is stuck unless i force it open by disengaging the second doors frame latch. is there a way i can fix this, or do i have to call a locksmith to replace the mechanism? remember this is a commercial door lock, i see no screws or even small setscrews.
How could anyone deny this evidence of ghosts?

Have a son in College that seems interested in the field, rather than some of the more “common” jobs his friends are taking while putting themselves through school.
What is involved? Training? Is there a union?
I recently had some re-keying done and it cost me a fortune. Perhaps I should join him!! : )

Okay, I lost my keys to my van and the town I live in doesn’t have a locksmith that will work on cars. If I want to use a locksmith it will cost me over 200 dollars to get one to come to my town. That’s more than what the car is worth, so to me, its not an option.
So please no one suggest locksmiths or going to the dealer. I’ve obviously already tried these and they didn’t work.
I have all the colors right here I just need to know which wires I need to cross to turn it on and which to cross to start it.
In this order:
Orange
Green
Black
Light Blue
Dark Blue
Brown
Purple
Yellow
Green
White
These wires go deeper into the car where they meet up with thicker wires that I think all go to my heating and cooling.
2 Pink
2 Red
Purple
Orange
1 Small Green
Then another 3 that branch off into what I think is my dash electronics.
Gray
White
Purple
So yeah, any help that can be given please let me know? Thanks =)

I paid a locksmith 145$ to unlock my car (rip off) and I want to know what the general consequences of sending the bill to my AAA insurance company.
Also, what do you need to include in the envelope in order to mail the bill to AAA? (information wise, forms, signatures, etc..)

-kick it down
-use paper clips
-call a locksmith
-use a screw driver, the screws are in the inside.

It’s my bedroom door, & I need to get in there to get food for my pets.
My window slides sideways & has an automatic lock that you have to hold down to make the window slide from the inside, it isnt possible to get in from outside.
It is a bedroom door, & looks like one too.
I don’t know where your from, but in SoCal, they look like that.
The food is in my room because my siblings think its funny to tease my cats & dog, buy shaking their food bags then putting it on a shelf. So I hide it in my room & feed them in there too.

Was recommended a locksmith company to change doorlocks on a new home I’m buying. Is that really necessary? What can a locksmith do that I can’t? The price is $109 for a 2 cylinder change +2 keys. Seems like a good deal, but worth it?
